Microsoft SharePoint is the development platform used for the majority of the work we do for our customers and we have developed (and are still supporting) solutions in SharePoint Portal Server 2003, Windows SharePoint Server (WSS) 2.0, WSS 3.0, Microsoft Office SharePoint Server (MOSS) 2007, SharePoint Online and SharePoint 2010.
Microsoft has built an excellent toolkit out of the box which we manipulate wherever possible and they have also provided SharePoint Designer for creating "no code" enhancements to areas such as Master Pages, CSS and Workflow solutions.
Where a solution can not be developed with this toolkit, Adepteq develop SharePoint Web Parts in C# ASP.Net which we then deploy and support in your environment.
Web Part Development
Adepteq has worked with a number of clients to develop specific custom controls or web parts to be used in their existing SharePoint environment. Good examples of this are Somerset College (Senior management Team Calendaring web part), Pearson Vue (News and Events and Job Applications), Rightmove (Customer Support Team workflows and CRM lookups) and WKH (Send to SharePoint add in and Practice Manager integration).
Custom Development
Adepteq is often asked to connect SharePoint to other line of business systems within an organisation and this typically requires custom development. Adepteq has integrated SharePoint with commercial software such as Maximiser (CRM) and Practice Manager (Accountancy Manangement package). The majority of our work is to connect bespoke solutions to SharePoint to provide views on the data held within them or for them to be used as a lookup to poulate fields in SharePoint lists.
